Structural Steel Detailing
CDE Structures provides a full structural steel detailing service. Our 3D model driven approach allows the production of fast, accurate and detailed steel drawings. These drawings are then fully integrated with the 3D model, providing powerful yet easy to navigate change management.
Our 3D models allow for accurate and fast development of new structures as well as additional steelwork and amendments into existing structures. Instant and accurate drawings, reports, and CNC data can be automatically created from the 3D model whenever required.
Visualisation, Animation & 3D Scanning

Our preferred software, Tekla, seamlessly integrates 3D scan data into a 3D model, allowing accurate and fast modelling of new structures as well as additional steelwork and amendments into existing structures.
Through Tekla we can visit all components of the construction before project commencement and all trades, including architects and engineers can gain a better understanding of each component of the project including critical areas, dimensions, textures, heights, landscape and so forth.
The addition of Trimble Connect 3D viewer, allows clients to improve workflows by providing coordinated construction information for all contributors across the project life cycle. It enables every stakeholder to share, review, coordinate, and comment on data-rich building models in real-time.
